About Us

About Women Leaders South Africa

Women Leaders South Africa is underpinned in the belief of knowledge sharing, mentorship and leadership and aims to create a valuable platform for current and emerging young South Africa female leaders to network through effective solution-based conversations, tackle adverse social norms and promote positive role models and female leadership advancement.
We advocate for women to be in the forefront of leadership positions.

The quality of women’s talent and leadership has been publicly cited as very important to business – the skills and experience that women bring, including knowledge gained outside of the workplace, has proven to be essential in strategic decision-making and in ethical, sustainable enterprise and rebuilding our countries and economies.

In order to tackle inequality effectively, South African companies and organisations need to bring women issues to the forefront of their strategy.

Women Leaders South Africa is underpinned in the belief of authentic and servant leadership, knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Leadership

WLSA believes in cultivating and strengthening women’s leadership through the establishment of support projects that will enable women to be effective members of society and participate in national decision-making processes.

Mentorship

WLSA is taking the lead in embracing youth, girl-children and young women’s unique capabilities by encouraging them to dream without gender limitations and mentoring them to succeed in any role they choose—even those that do not exist as yet.

Empowerment

WLSA aspires to break the cycle of exclusion and vulnerability by empowering girls and young women with relevant knowledge and skills that will not only change the trajectory of their future, but that of their communities as well.
